With over 30+ years in the cattle industry, Seneff Cattle Company, went from a a cow/calf operation to providing locally raised beef.
The ranch will continue with cow/calf operations but are expanding our services to provide direct market to customer of excellent quality freezer beef. The customer is assured their beef has been born and raised in a healthy environment without hormones, additives or unnecessary antibiotics. Being single sourced, they go directly from the ranch to a small independent processor and then to the consumer. No feedlot, no large processing plant, no trucking to retail grocery stores.
Over the past three years, the herd is 100% converted to Red Angus selected for superior genetics. The genetics selected are high performers in marbling and carcass quality to produce beef that is flavorful, juicy, and tender.
The calves are born and raised on the ranch’s pasture and tended by the owners daily. The calves are fenced weaned at 6 months to decrease the stress of leaving their mothers. After weaning, they are fed free choice hay, and a custom grain ration without hormones, antibiotics, or additives during the finishing phase.
They are humanely harvested with an independent, small local processer and dry aged for 16-21 days. Seneff Cattle Company raises its animals according to BQA (Beef Quality Assurance) protocols to ensure correct animal care, handling and management.
